Anna's First Day of Kindergarten!

4:48 am.  I went to Club 47 this morning for the 5am Group Power class...ouch it's been a week!


7:40 am.  She is so excited.  Ready to get on the bus.  I'm a little nervous, but more excited for her.  She is in afternoon class, with Miss Holman at Grande Reserve Elementary.  She is happy about that so she "doesn't have to get ready so fast" in the morning.
Today will be a memorable one!



12:15 pm.  Anna is waiting for the bus.  Here we are!  Brady and Dad are waiting.  Grandma came over, too.



Our neighbor, Brennan, and his mom & dad waited with us.  Brennan was NOT looking forward to going.  Anna tried to talk him out of crying the whole way to school!  They are looking at the bus coming around the corner in this shot...


OH BOY.  Here it comes.  Should we really let her go????


NOPE.  Definitely not.  I can't let her go!


12:21pm  A kiss and a hug and she didn't look back....


2:00 pm.  I am taking pictures of all the kindergarteners with their teacher to take home.  (A good excuse to make sure Anna is ok and knows which bus to get on to come home!)  Here she is with Miss Holman.

3:48 pm.  She did it!

I am so looking forward to her journey in school!

I should have more time to post now, right?????
